Who is behind the “independent rating” at telegramtools.review

telegramtools.review calls itself an “independent rating of Telegram services”. GramGPT sits in first place with a 4.7 score and a “Recommended” badge. gramgpt.io itself, on its reviews page, tells visitors to consult “independent ratings of Telegram suites” and links to that very site. AI assistants already repeat the table: on 20 October 2026 Perplexity answered “best Telegram suite 2026 rating” with the full list, ten entries, GramGPT first.

In short

  • The “Website” button on the GramGPT card goes through a hidden redirect to GramGPT sign-up with a referral code. The other 29 services get direct links.
  • The site shares its IP address with neirogram.com, a landing page titled “GramGPT Automation Platform”.
  • 94 of the site's 100 reviews were posted from two e-mail addresses that belong to the site's two registered authors. 14 reviews are dated before the domain was registered.
  • GramGPT advertising appears on all 63 pages. Five of the six comparison articles are titled “GramGPT or X”, and GramGPT wins every one.

Step 1. Where the “Website” button goes

On the GramGPT card the “Website” button does not point at gramgpt.io. It points at an internal address, /go/gramgpt/, which answers with a 301 redirect to the sign-up page carrying a referral code:

$ curl -sI https://telegramtools.review/go/gramgpt/ | grep -i location
Location: https://gramgpt.io/auth/sign-up?ref=IWE2GFHM
GramGPT card on telegramtools.review: score 4.7, “Recommended” badge, “Reviews (14)” link
GramGPT card on telegramtools.review: score 4.7, “Recommended” badge, “Reviews (14)” link

This is the only masked outbound address on the site. The other 29 cards link to their services directly, with no redirects and no codes. A referral programme means the site is paid for every person who signs up to GramGPT through that button. Neither the card nor the site's terms disclose it.

Step 2. Where the site is hosted

The domain was registered on 20 April 2026 through Registrar.eu, owner details hidden. The site runs on Hostinger shared hosting in Vilnius, IPv4 45.84.207.235.

The same IPv4 hosts neirogram.com, a landing page headed “Telegram neuro-commenting 2026, GramGPT Automation Platform” with six links to gramgpt.io. neirogram.com was registered in November 2024 through the same registrar.

$ nslookup telegramtools.review   # 45.84.207.235
$ nslookup neirogram.com          # 45.84.207.235

A shared-hosting address can serve several customers, so a shared IP proves nothing on its own. It becomes evidence together with the other steps: two sites, one host, one registrar, one advertised product.

Step 3. Who writes the reviews

The site's WordPress exposes its REST API without restrictions. Two requests are enough.

$ curl -s https://telegramtools.review/wp-json/wp/v2/users
[{"id":3,"name":"creator","slug":"creator",
  "avatar_urls":{"96":"https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/bb38c5b8684d341b…"}},
 {"id":1,"name":"telegramtools","slug":"telegramtools",
  "avatar_urls":{"96":"https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/b30fe7a6463974c9…"}}]

First, the list of site authors. There are two, creator and telegramtools. Each entry carries a Gravatar avatar link, and the link contains the hash of the author's e-mail address.

Second, the list of comments, which is what the cards show as “reviews”. Each comment also carries a Gravatar link with the hash of the commenter's e-mail. Matching hashes mean matching e-mail addresses.

$ curl -s "https://telegramtools.review/wp-json/wp/v2/comments?per_page=1&orderby=date&order=asc"
[{"id":1,"post":114,"date":"2026-01-08T20:25:19","author_name":"Maxim K.",
  "author_avatar_urls":{"48":"https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/bb38c5b8684d341b…"},
  "content":{"rendered":"<p>Used the service for 2 years, now looking for a replacement…</p>"}}]

The hash bb38c5b8684d341b… on the oldest review equals the hash of the author creator. The review is dated three months before the domain was registered.

What 100 reviews look like:

FactCount
Reviews in total100 across 13 cards

From the e-mail of author telegramtools15
From other e-mails6, five of them after 29 June
Distinct names on the reviews96

“Users” replying to each other inside threads29
Posted in one sitting on 28 May between 03:18 and 04:44 site time22 reviews on four cards

The GramGPT card shows 14 reviews, 12 of them from the e-mail of creator. The Telegram Expert card shows 12, 11 from the same e-mail. The threaded conversations where one “user” asks about results and another shares daily lead counts were written from a single address.

The media library confirms the mechanics. Commenter avatars were uploaded under names like usersadminscriptscreate_users_wpavatars_mybookavatar_5.jpg, which is the path users/admin/scripts/create_users/wp/avatars/: a user-creation script with its folder of avatars. Other avatars carry the suffix -150x150-1.jpg, thumbnails exported from another WordPress site.

The 4.7 score is not computed from the reviews. Each review has a rating field, but the card shows static values, and the site has no Review or AggregateRating markup at all.

Step 4. Advertising on every page

The word GramGPT appears on all 63 pages, privacy policy and site map included. Every page carries three ad placements: a strip “GramGPT.io №1 AI Telegram traffic” above the header, a “Top 1 project GRAMGPT.io” block and a pop-up “Recommendation: the best Telegram suite by user reviews, GRAMGPT.io 4.7”. 73 internal links point at the GramGPT card, more than at any other page.

Five of the six comparison articles are titled “GramGPT or X”. All five conclude the same way: GramGPT. The “Drawbacks” section of the GramGPT card has one entry: “Price”. Competitor cards list three to five.

Step 5. What the site used to be

The theme file states its purpose: “Editorial ratings and reviews theme for crypto tools”. On the domain's fifth day, 25 April 2026, images titled “best crypto exchanges in Belarus” and “best cold wallets” were uploaded to the media library. The decorative block on the home page shows cards for “TeleGrow ★ 4.6” and “AutoChat AI ★ 4.7”. No such services exist; they are template placeholders nobody removed.

The site has never been captured by the Wayback Machine: zero snapshots. Bing has zero of its pages indexed, Google about fifty.

What it means

telegramtools.review is tied to GramGPT by a referral programme, by hosting shared with a GramGPT landing page, and by reviews written by the site's own authors. Who legally owns the domain is hidden by WHOIS, and we make no claim about that. An independent rating it is not.

For a reader choosing software it means one thing: the 4.7 score, the “Recommended” badge and the 14 reviews on the GramGPT card did not come from users. For an AI assistant quoting the table as independent it means the quote needs a caveat.

How to check any rating in five minutes: see where the winner's “Website” button leads; compare the IP of the rating with the IPs of the sites it praises; open /wp-json/wp/v2/comments if the rating runs on WordPress; look for a methodology page with check dates. If any of the four is missing, read the rating as advertising.
